Amed Beach

A small village in a peaceful bay, on the North East coast of Bali. Usually warm and full of colour and life with great reefs and macro diving. With great visibility and calm waters Amed is suited to all levels of divers. Amed is home to many turtles, pygmy seahorse and fantastic coral reefs. The Japanese wreck is just meters from the shore.

HOW TO BOOK

Tulamben / Kubu

Home of Bali's most popular dive site the USS Liberty shipwreck. Just meters from the shore an amazing variety of marine life can be found amongst this great wreck. You can also dive a drop-off, a shallow coral garden, and a deep coral reef. Tulamben is the best place to night dive in Bali and you can take a magical sunrise dive. Suitable for all levels of diver from open water to advanced.

HOW TO BOOK

Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida

Three sister islands of dry limestone about 20 km off the South East coast of Bali, reached by fast speedboat in a 45 minute journey from Sanur. The healthiest corals in Bali, and home to a huge variety of reef fish. Great for drift diving and the best place to see Mola Mola in season, with mantas all year round. Usual water temperature around 28°C, but the strong currents and sharp thermoclines can occasionally bring it down to the low 20°C. Good visibility. Not uncommon strong currents and swells.

HOW TO BOOK

Padang Bay

This sleepy village and its sandy beaches are reached by road in one hour from Sanur. A short boat ride takes you to Blue Lagoon and other nearby dive sites. The white sand and colourful corals are home to everything from the smallest reef fish to rays, cuttlefish, and frequent turtle sightings. The warm 28 degree waters are suitable for all levels of diver from beginner to advanced.

HOW TO BOOK

Menjangan

A small island in the West Bali National Park in the North West corner of Bali. Possible to do as a one day trip, but better dived as part of a dive and accommodation safari letting you spend the night up there. Menjangan has the best wall diving in Bali, with very bright and colourful underwater scenes. Lots of different sites to choose from, including a wooden shipwreck starting at 35m. Full of rich marine life and sandy beaches to relax over lunch. Nearby is 'Secret Bay', muck diving at its best and not to be missed by macro photographers; Frogfish, Seahorse and Nudibranch heaven. Menjangan has perhaps the best visibility in Bali.

HOW TO BOOK

Pemuteran

Pemuteran is in the north of Bali and is the departure point for boats heading to Menjangan Island. With great reef diving at the Bio Rock Pemuteran is the best place for beginner divers and is also a great place for a night dive.
